Adventure. Probably one of the most over used word of this decade… But one that can not easily be replaced when attempting to describe why we seek quiet places, hidden peaks, and distant lands. Or why we spend our free evenings and weekends moving along dirt paths, climbing weathered walls, and casting lines in search of fish.
